This famous person was BUDDHA

I think this quote have a lot of stuff to say, but we are not capable to decrypt the wisdom inside it. when we have a dream in mind and we work for it, it means we are on one path and we are focussed . now just think if a person acheives his/her dream then what will he/she do after reaching the destnation. It simply says you will always travel in search of your destination, and in each and every coming moment you will realise more and more that you know nothing, thats wahy you will traveland travel, bit if you say that you have reached the destination, it means you are lost.

Worked 10 years 20 hours a day just to loose it all in 12 months. I guess a quarter million dollars wasn't enough. Now I'm burned out and just travel now and then with the last 10K$, it gives me more pleasure than just building up a huge amount of money. In the end it is not the world, it is just the equivalent of a home. And my job. And if it continues probably my wife also.

I love this post!
Just like you, I'm a big dreamer myself. I was crushed when my aunt told my mom to keep me from dreaming big (that's after she saw my vision board). But I'm slowly making my dreams come true, thanks for my aunt's pessimism. :)

I chance upon your site by googling "life is too short to wake up in regrets." And I'm glad I read this.

I've been contemplating these past few days whether to follow my bliss or simply go with the path people expected me to take.

Thank you so much for this post! :)

The quote, "To travel is better than to arrive," has a lot of meaning for me. I was at a point in life where I had achieved a lot of my goals then I had a major medical crisis, and I lost my job, my home and a lot of other things. I have had to basically re-build my life. What I have learned from this experience of building a new life is how strong I actually am. I don't know whether I will ever return to my former level of material success; however, I have learned that I can handle things that I never imagined anyone to have to handle. So the "traveling" along this path has really taught me about my strengths.

Gregg,

I stumbled across your "Listen to Your Heart" blog today. I was inspired by your message of being true to yourself, while working hard, seeking personal development, and taking control of your own circumstances.

You're right about excitement being a key factor in making whatever you're doing more fun AND successful. You sound like you have a great attitude.

Since it's been a year and a half since you wrote this, I'm curious what success you have gone after since leaving your door-to-door (cold calls) job. What are you doing for work now? If you're open to evaluating a fun, hard work, highly successful career opportunity, I can share some ideas with you. Another stream of income fills the pond faster.

Whatever the outcome, I want to thank you for your great post.
